Terms of Booking
By placing a booking with the N.A.D.A. Hotel and Conference Center on Northwood University’s campus, the lead guest (yourself) and the booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. Please do not use the web services if you do not agree with these terms.
To place a booking with us, the lead guest must be at least 21 years of age. The maximum number of guests staying per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the room, the person making the booking may be held responsible for the cancellation, non-arrival, and damages as set within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
To secure any booking with us, we require a credit card on file for payment. Credit card information can be changed at time of check in and must be a valid and active credit card. Payment is only refundable under the conditions set-out here and within.
Payments can be made over the phone using debit / credit card, or upon check in with a debit/credit card, check or cash. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonored checks, or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within (7) days of any request to do so.
Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or inquiry through this website / or third party website, are explained and set out in our Privacy Policy below. We may collect “Personal Information” (information that identifies you or relates to you as an identifiable person) as necessary or appropriate for legal reasons. If you provide us with information about someone else, please ensure you have the person’s permission to do so.
All guests and or visitors agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other guests at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honoring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other hotel guests and neighbors, or the university residents, facilities, or faculty.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in: 3:00 p.m. or later on the day of arrival
Check-out by: 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure
If you require an earlier check-in or checkout time, please contact the N.A.D.A. Hotel front desk directly. Not all requests can be accommodated, additional fees may apply.
Guest Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-arrival Conditions
Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible. Any deposits already paid are only returned in accordance with the following conditions:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours, in advance of arrival date in order to receive a full deposit refund
There will be a cancellation fee if not cancelled 24-hours prior to arrival. The cancellation fee is composed of one night’s lodging rate plus all applicable taxes.
Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit any deposit paid and the full amount of the booking will be charged to the credit card that we have on file at the time of booking.
Our Right to Cancellation
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware we cannot be held liable for situations or circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.
WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all of our guests.
The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to World Wide Web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.
Damages & Lost Property
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture, or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimize damage and associated costs or risks.
Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners, we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belongings before checking out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.
Smoking
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, pipes, cigars, or chewing tobacco, is only allowed in preassigned designated areas outside of the establishment and is in accordance with the Health Act of 2006. Smoking of any illegal substances is prohibited.
Pets & Service Dogs
We do not accept pets throughout the accommodation, except for service dogs with proper documentation.
Parking
Where on-site parking is provided guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk. Northwood University and the N.A.D.A. Hotel are not responsible for any stolen or damaged property.

Northwood University provides this website to support its mission and to be of service to students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, supporters, and the public. Use of this website for any purposes other than that for which it is intended is unauthorized and prohibited.

Northwood University is committed to protecting your privacy. We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site.
